Building a world class Sales Force capability

Diageo wanted to focus on Brilliant sales execution to provide their customers with an exceptional experience. As part of our work, we built a cutting edge mobile application, allowing Sales and Service representatives to focus on spending more time in trade, while providing real-time insight to inform decision making.

Diageo also wanted to provide their customers with a more accessible ordering channel through an online customer portal. This allows a customer to browse a personalised product portfolio, place orders and access information about their account and invoices… day or night.

    Heads in the cloud, feet on the ground

    We delivered a mobile application that works on both iPad and Android tablets, leveraging Salesforce.com’s cloud platform. A key success factor of the mobile application was its ability to work offline, and synchronise back to Salesforce.com.

    The portal was integrated into Diageo’s existing Order-To-Cash process while retaining their existing SAP backend system as the master data source. All of this provides customer focussed features such as favourite products and automatic order splitting that will make customers order experience easier and quicker.

    Our goal was to revolutionise the way Diageo's reps work by providing a tool which not only improves data capture and process adherence but also empowers employees to sell and service customers better.

    The solution provides the account, campaign information and marketing material reps require, where and when they require it – in their hands, in front of the customer.

    Seamless integration with core systems

    The mobile application enables synchronisation between the mobile work force and master data / transactional data managers who are able to generate reports providing real-time information on the effectiveness of their sales techniques. The portal provides a secure customer gateway to Diageo’s core systems. Customers can see information on their orders progress, from portal to pub.
