The D&AD Awards 2013

D&AD represents the global creative, design and advertising communities and celebrates brilliance in commercial creativity. Last Wednesday the Creative team and three of our clients went suited and booted to attend the annual awards ceremony at the Roundhouse in Camden. The awards are regarded as a major event in the world of design and advertising with "Pencils" being awarded for various categories ranging from environmental design to packaging and writing for design.

Deloitte Digital sponsored the Digital Design category where two yellow pencils were awarded for Gallery One by Local Projects and Clouds over Cuba by The Martin Agency. One particular nomination won multiple awards and has entertained us for a number of days. Check out the Dumb Ways to Die video by McCann Erickson Melbourne which is a public service announcement campaign by Metro Trains in Melbourne to promote rail safety. The campaign went viral through sharing and social media.
